Day 26: Fri 3 Jun - Home to Yeppoon, 400km; total towed: 3 115km

A beautiful sunny day for our first day back on the road

We were on the road at 7:20am, keen to get the fairly long drive finished. There was a lot of road works (understatement), so it was stop-start-stop-start for most of the day, making the drive a little longer.  However the few minutes stopping at roadworks lights seemed rather relaxing.

We stopped for breakfast at a lovely park just North of Gin Gin, mornos in the little town of Miriam Vale, and lunch at Rockhampton, just near the Visitors Centre. We arrived at the Blue Dolphin caravan park, Yeppoon about 2:30pm. 20 minutes later we were all set up on site #24, next door to Bob and Noeleene.

After an afternoon cuppa, Greg went for a ride whilst Wendy had a work phone call to make. Pre-dinner drinks were had next door before retiring to our van to make the pizzas for dinner.

Nice to be able to see the road without rain
