Day 16: Wed 4 May - Roma

12-28 deg C, fine and sunny to start the day, clouds moved in during the afternoon, rain late afternoon and evening

Whilst Greg had his first coffee of the day, Wendy had the washing on. Woolies opened at 8am and we were some of the first people in the store. Half an hour later we were back home. Greg then went into town with Ken and Jo and met up with Bob and Noeleene for mornos at Bakearoma, whilst Wendy did more washing and real paid work.

After lunch, Greg went for a ride with the boys. Another great ride around Roma, which has a small country town/friendly feel about it. The traffic was light and polite. Wendy continued to work while Noeleene made some delicious scones for afternoon tea.

Pre-dinner drinks were not had tonight, instead we packed up the outside of the vans, ready for our departure tomorrow. Dinner was had at the Taj Indian Kitchen, and all meals were absolutely delicious. The place had a nice relaxed atmosphere which made for a lovely night out. The food was more than most of us could eat, so we have a ready prepared meal for dinner tomorrow night.
